Leather can be challenging for the professional cleaner to restore, maintain, and preserve. A more frequent maintenance schedule will produce superior appearance, wear, and performance. Finished leather is usually cleanable, but extreme care should be used when cleaning unfinished leather. Soil naturally hides and covers blemishes, cracks, cuts, and imperfections, dye loss, and fading. Tanner’s unique formula blends cleaners to dissolve soils, conditioners to restore pliability: resisting cracking and scuffing, and Fibre-Tec protector to resist staining and extend life. It does not contain silicone or D-limonene.
DO NOT DILUTE. SHAKE WELL BEFORE USING.
Regular scheduled maintenance (3-6 months/weekly damp cloth wiping): Pre-inspect for imperfection. Test for excessive dye loss. Pre-spot stubborn stains using care, 0000 grade steel wool may be used. A tampico brush can loosen heavy soils. Use caution. Clean cushions separately. Over a drop cloth, apply Tanner liberally to upright surfaces with impervious gloves or equivalent in circular motions. Allow gravitational penetration for 3 minutes. Use a clean, dry, absorbent towel in repeating circular motion with pressure to transfer soils into the towel. Rotate the towel for clean surface. Buff with a new, clean towel. Rotate furniture to completely clean all opposing surfaces. Be sure to overlap each section. One quart covers average sofa.
Wash thoroughly after handling.
